Have an interview scheduled with Dohrn. Know that in the past their equipment was garbage, but I worked at Gilster Mary-Lee for over 3 years so it can't be much worse and I have seen improvement on the road and heard their equipment has improved from others as well.
Anyone have the 411 on this company? It's a linehaul gig running M-F nights at $.445/mile, home daily and was told no-touch. Thanks in advance.

I seen one of their adds offering hourly pay and home daily, I assume it's for local delivery.

Which terminal(s) would you be out of? I used to deliver a lot of John Deere merch to to their hq in rock island. That place was pretty dumpy, as was their equipment, but the terminal near me in Janesville seems Slightly better with nicer trucks.
They are hiring all the time, I think the p and d guys start at $21- something per hour, but idk about overtime.
Keep us posted on how it goes, I have always been curious about them. Good luck!jscott1448 and DTP Thank this. -
They sure have updated their equipment from what I've seen .

When I was P&D I know a lot of Dohrn drivers griped. But it was cuz they they were doing peddle routes in 53's with swing doors. And most of their equipment left a lot to be desired for. But if you're linehaul the swing doors and long boxes are none of your concern I wouldn't think. It beats dickin around with pup sets in the rain and slop. If I'm not mistaken the guys I talked to came out of Sturgeon,MO so Litchfield might be a totally different animal. That terminal might have new equipment and you'll wish you would have done it years ago. Best of luck to you! Keep us posted.
DTP Thanks this.
