Remove the floor trim on both sides, fold back the mat, remove the bolt hole covers on the rear of the doghouse, remove those bolts, and the ones near the center of the doghouse on each side that go into the floor. The proper way to get the top bolts is to remove the ABS ECU mounting plate, and use a long extension with a 12mm swivel to get the bolts holding the top bracket. But what's much easier is to leave the plate in place, pry up slightly on the rear of the doghouse to get it over the floor hump, and wiggle it while pulling back and turning the front end down and out of the bracket. To reassemble, it's possible to wiggle the doghouse back up under the bracket then push it down and in to get the center and rear bolt holes lined up.
Wiggling it out of the bracket without removing the ECU plate is a huge timesaver.
