In Johnny Horton's "Springtime in Alaska" it gives mention of a "Red Dog Saloon" in Fairbanks.
"Mushed from Point Barren through a blizzard of snow,
been out prospectin' for two years or so,
pulled in to Fairbanks the city was a boom,
so I took a little stroll to The Red Dog Saloon."
Is there really a Red Dog Saloon in Fairbanks? I have heard there is one in Juneau that is pretty well known.
Does "The Red Dog Saloon" really exist?

Having lived there and been there I can tell you for sure yes it does. There is also one in Juneau as you mentioned that has become better known because the cruise ships go to Juneau.

"When it's springtime in Alaska, it's 40 below". Geez, you're an old guy.
