Does Dot Drug Test look for Steroids?

I’m not touching this one.

 

Here is the list of all substances the testing looks for. This is a table right out of part 40.87.

 

Beginning January 1, 2018, in addition to the existing DOT drug testing panel (that includes marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, phencyclidine (PCP), and opiates), you will also be tested for four semi-synthetic opioids (i.e., hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, oxymorphone).

No steroids, but truck driving is tough enough without dealing with roid rage behind the wheel.

 

no they DO NOT test for steroids. This isnt the NFL. You are safe on DECA. Steroids is legal under doctor supervision fellas and legal no matter if pain managment or bodybuilding. So whether that be this guys case or not. And you can drive truck while doing them.

 

Don't pick up any nasty habits of some of these lazy truckers that won't walk more than 100 feet a day

 

There is a reason most pro sports test for these substances. I know of some deaths directly tied to steroid use. As far as DOT goes the OP is OK. watch the creatinine levels. I lost a lot of my links when my hard drive blew up. I used to have a link to this issue as it deals with trucking.

 

They test for them yeah, but there are a million ways to get around that. Im sure you know that but just saying. The size of bodybuilders and sports players thes days compared to yesterday is unreal. Every ones doing heavy stuff. If you have ever been into steroid use, you would know that there are 2 different types. Their are USERS and then there are ABUSERS.

 

From PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I can safely tell you NO they do not. I compete in powerlifting been on test alone straight for 10 years now. I cycle tren, anadrol, dbol 3 months on, 3 months off. Never failed a pre employment or dot piss test. Only way to see if you're on these things is an actual blood test. And even then you have to know what you're looking for specifically.
