They used to be a great company...They have gone downhill a lot!

Preacher,
Ill try to tell you what I know. They are based out of Logan, Utah and have their HQ and shop up there. However, they run I think all over the place...48 states. A guy that I brought freight to, used to work for Miller in the past and just last year, went back to them. He is making pretty good money and I think they are very helpful to the drivers, know them by name. I think you also can pretty much live wherever as long as freight goes there.
Locally, they have their own emergency road repair truck that goes out and repairs their trucks that break down in the area.
As far as their trucks...I think they are phasing out some old....Petes? And replacing them with new Cascadias. I think they also have a mix of other trucks there as well.
I haven't heard anything bad about them. -
Thank you, I was ust trying to find out if they were a very bad company and apparently that is not the case!
I am thinking on going to work for them and was not trying to get into a VERY BAD company!!! -
L.W Miller used to be a good company all they do now is sit there and figurer another way not to pay you all your miles. And then you have Craig in dispatch who is the biggest lier on earth. If you give them notice and he doesn't like you you can expect to be brought back to the terminal on your next dispatch and let go so he can put on your dac report that you were terminated and in my case thew in an accident with a parked car that was classified as preventable. Funny part is there was never an accident so if you plan on working for L.W.Miller my advice is don't save you and your family a lot of hardship. Oh and as far as getting you home once a week ya right like that will ever happen you will see a lot of there trucks in Ca. but your truck wont see Ca but once every 6 weeks maybe as little as 4 but after 2 days they need you back on the road get a short haul and then set at a truckstop for 2 more days.
