JJ Keller does custom printing. Cost is dependent on quantity

I thought about making my own log book. It annoys me that all the ones I've seen count to twelve twice. I'd like my log book to count all the hours in the day straight through using all the big numbers right up to the big 24.

    Go to Staples.

Get a preprinted stamp with their information on it so it will fit the location. Just stamp the blanks.

I've been using eclipse logbook (windows app) for about a year. pro's is you print out a nice, pretty log everyday and can still go back and edit in case you make a "mistake". con's - you do have to print it out everyday, as well as pull out your laptop everytime you want to make an entry. I guess the other pro is it will alert you as to if and when you are out of hours.

It's about a wash for me, I have terrible handwriting, but considering going back to paper and pen just for the ease of making a quick scratch for fuel stops or whatnot during the day. I know the HOS rules backwards and forwards so don't need an app to check for me. Still, it is nice to hand the DOT 7 days of pretty, neat, legal logs when asked. pros and cons.

I use drivers daily log app for ipad. It can be used on iphone as well. A phone has a pretty small screen for it. The app works great and keeps everything neat. All the company info and truck number etc. can be preset to autofill every day. The logs can be emailed or printed too. Ive used it for a year now and am very happy with it.
