I can see if they actually covered the top of the windshield but I am not seeing how much of a benefit they are or if they are actually blocking any sun to a noticeable level.

I dotknow about a cascadia, but all the other trucks I have driven, Pete’s, Mack’s, KW they make a huge difference.

Probably not enough to justify the increased drag cost. My last Cascadia had the factory visor and it seemed mostly useless as far as keeping out direct sun. It might have “looked a little better” to some.

Actually the visors main job was to prevent wind buffeting of the cab.

I hate them. All they do is collect morning dew and drop it on your windshield to smear the bugs still there from the night before. and make lots of wind noise.

Yeah on those trucks they really overlap the windshield. On the cascadia it just sticks out a few inches and you can't see it when you are inside the truck unless you lean all the way forward and look up.

I thought they were called moon visors?
And sun visors are the useless things in the cab? 15378113014644098821152688655494.jpg

A lot of sites including the Freightliner site called them exterior sun visors. I guess a moon visor may be another nickname for them but I dont know about that.
