We are a small trucking company out of Arizona. Drivers not coming through Arizona in a timely fashion have been using Trip Pak (actually UPS) overnight service to convey BOL and logs as it is easy and convenient from the truck stops.

We have had NOTHING but service failures in the last 3 months. Nine envelopes out of 15 have been delivered 2-4 days AFTER the overnight service guarantee. Drivers have had to wait for paychecks because I have no idea how much money they have spent on the truck and how much they spent for themselves. They are given $2500 per week for expenses. Was it spent on tolls/fuel or the girlfriend??? This is NOT the way we do business nor have we ever until we signed up for this absolutely horrible Trip Pak service.

If you call UPS, they tell you to call Trip Pak (which is actually a Xerox subsidiary). Trip Pak NEVER answers their phone or email. All you get is either voice mail or a FULL voice mailbox even though their website and their salesman GUARANTEED 24/7 support.

UPS sure doesn't care about my little business. But I CARE!!! And so do my drivers.

This is an absolutely HORRIBLE service!!!! Find another way. You can actually open an account with your debit card at the Post Office online and FedEx (although more expensive) will open an account with a debit card.

Try USPS Priority Pre Paid envelopes. You don't even have to add a stamp.

We're currently having issues with Trip Pak as well. I feel your pain, I'm not sure what their deal is but it appears that not performing to the clients standards doesn't bother them. I'm hoping that our situation improve soon.

we switched to scanning and they're auditing our logs. But they keep going missing from the log auditing system, but we can find them on the trip pak side. It's freakin me out, these kind of issues need to stop happening.

Transflo, the only way to go! I have a printer/scanner in the truck with me so I can always scan if I'm out in the middle of nowhere with no Pilot/Flying J to scan at.

I haven't had a problem with missing TripPaks, but the speed for them is completely unpredictable when it's not the overnight version. I dropped one off 700 miles from my terminal. 3 days later I dropped another one off about 2000 or so miles from the terminal. Somehow the one 2000 miles away got there faster even after starting its journey 3 days later.

I would NOT recommend Priority Mail service as a good alternative, I have had delivery times of up to an entire week to only travel across 2 or 3 states.
