A sub human Ceo and employees who abuse and ridicule and affect drivers and carriers. They have a large corrupt evil ego who have a long history of stepping on others unreasonably. Their integrity and values are none as lying scumbags that they are.
A load was placed with Jacqueline Vazquez in which she was told location of where truck was. Due to load board error we called back exactly 5 minutes later apologizing and letting her know a time difference for pickup. We even offered $200 dollars to her for the error. We were as kind as possible. Jacqueline Vazquez exploded into a scumbag of rage verbally abusing a driver who has worked for them in the past. We kept our composure as she yelled at us. Telling us we were full of s#!t and then hung up the phone at us. We have the recoded call.
Afterwards we had a face to face meeting with Rachel Stephens. She mentioned she would take care of the situation. But also involved Robert Jernigan. Over the phone Robert Jernigan was very hostile and aggressive towards us at times. Again we ourselves were very accommodating and calm by phone in conversation with Jernigan.
After days Jernigan emailed us that everything was dealt with and that we did nothing wrong. That we will resume hauling loads for them. Which was a lie and a way for them to unreasonably make fun of us. As later we found out they blocked us. We emailed the CEO and everyone else that is top ranking at Mode global/ Mode transportation. Everyone ignored us so that opened us up to research them. In which we found out they have a long history of abusing drivers and other companies. As we found a long history of bad complaints against Mode.
These kind of unprofessional people need to be exposed. So hopefully they start losing business. Because they are arrogant against people who did nothing wrong. But their ego has grown enormously.
Not only were emails of us ignored from the beginning. But we were treated poorly by two employees when we were as kind as possible. This was frustrating knowing human trash runs a so called presentable company called Mode.
At this time we are name calling them by what they are. As we noticed a decline in our business after interacting with them. Even though we strived as best for a professional solution. Including us offering money for a misunderstanding to them. In which nobody we know will do that except us.
IF YOU ARE A SHIPPER OR YOU ARE GENERALLY IN BUSINESS AVOID MAKING BUSINESS WITH MODE. BECAUSE YOUR BUSINESS CAN BE AFFECTED BY DEALING WITH A COMPANY WHO IS UNREASONABLE UNPROFESSIONAL SHADY LIARS AND ABUSERS.
AGAIN THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO MORALS NO INTEGRITY AND STEP ON INNOCENT BUSINESS PARTNERS BECAUSE THEIR EGO IS ENORMOUSLY LARGE. THESE KIND OF PEOPLE WILL ONLY STOP UNTIL THEY ARE EXPOSED HARD ENOUGH. UNTIL THEY EXPERIENCE LOSS OF BUSINESS.

(this is called a "life lesson")Lite bug, Iamoverit, TheLoadOut and 2 others Thank this. -
I've hauled loads for them several times in the past. Not on a regular basis, but I am familiar with them.
I've been around for quite awhile now & I never had a problem at all with them. Always professional & paid on time.
Something is not completely explained here, especially the initial contact. So, I can only guess as to what occurred.
Sounds like a load was taken & pick up time commited to. Realization immediately hit that P/U time could not be made.
What I do not understand is, if it was only 5min later....... just drop from load if later time cannot be arranged. It's only been 5min. Or, has it....?
I am completely baffled about the $200? And, load board error? Misread loadboard info & carrier mistake....? (I've been there, done that). Or, loadboard info was incorrect, that would be brokers error & problem. (Seen that, too). So, why the offer to pay broker $200?...... baffling. I've never offered to pay ANY broker anything, they are paying ME!
Little was detailed about what the initiating circumstances were, but I see a very lengthy personal attacks following in detail on every individual apparently encountered. Where is the detail on the actual event that caused all this? It would seem that that would be the most important part of this situation.
I do not usually respond to the usual garbage encountered in this topic, but for occassional entertainment.
But, this one was not the usual 1099 company crap I see here.
I can only surmise with the scant/non existent details given. It appears to me that this was most likely a one off carrier commitment mistake.
Either way, I hope this was a learning moment. And, at the least, some stress/steam was let out & there was some relief found.
Not convincing enough to keep me from working with them again in the future. Especially from a first post stranger that just signed up with zero history here.Long FLD, JimmyTwoTimes and 86scotty Thank this. -
actually understand. Anyone can come here saying I own or have owned abc company. People are bored and want to argue or poke at someone who has been abused for fun. I am well familiar with regulars in this platform. 1 or 2 of them at best are reasonable most are not. Either way to each their own. As I have learned from previous people who post bad experiences when I was a company driver in the past. Have learned from people who post their bad experiences here. And have taken with a grain of salt or ignored replies to threads. Because most regulars again come to toy with people who share bad experiences here. This is a terrific platform despite that because I have avoided several pitfalls thanks to the heroes who share their experiences here. Either way have a nice day and happy trails.FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
Not used to it? Company driver? Hope I will own trucks or business?
I thank you for your passive/aggressive well wishes.
You just might want to check my backround before making such assumptions. You know what they say about assumptions.......?
I am VERY well versed on dealing with a multitude of brokers & direct shippers. Have done so for years now.
I in no way attacked you. Was not poking fun, just making honest observations of the minimally given facts when I see one of my customers mentioned in the crap topic thread. Note that I said, " ONE OF MY CUSTOMERS". That's what caught my attention & interest to see what happened.
I am very well experienced with last minute dealings with brokers, thus my observation & opinion based on the minimal FACTS provided in post.
Would actually like to know the details/facts which were lacking, other than the overwhelming majority of just personality bashing (which could very well be true). It might actually help me in future dealings with them. Who knows? That's what the site is supposed to be for.
Possibly, you could look at it from my perspective reading what I read? How, exactly is your post supposed to help me in any way? Coming from a first time single poster? You obviously know how many hit & run first post whiners we get here.
You say it is a helpful forum. I agree completely! This forum started me on this nearly 15yr journey. I have more folks to thank here than you can even imagine. Some long past on from this realm.
If you look at my history here, you will find I strive to help most all I can when I am here abouts. Especially newbies to trucking & newcomers to the site.
It sounds like you had dealings for quite awhile with Mode until things took a bad turn in this situation. Sorry to see it did not go well this time
Obviously, our experiences have differred and that is nothing unusual.
But, it also does not change MY facts of never having an issue with them.
Hey, thanks for responding back. As you know, that usually never happens & it is a pleasure to see for a change. Even if it is just getting chastised & talked down upon.
Good luck & hope the best to you. ✌️JimmyTwoTimes, 86scotty and Sirscrapntruckalot Thank this. -
To go into detail about every little thing would be to spend hours replying to you. And even then you will seek ways to disagree. Maybe you are affiliated with them maybe you are not. It doesn’t matter you go ahead and keep working with them. Good luck to you and we sincerely wish you the best.
As any true person who owns trucks will acknowledge many bad apple brokers exist. Who abuse denigrate carriers exist in overwhelmingly numbers. We do all the work and they keep most of the money. Personally it hurts us even if our fellow carrier competitors get abused. Because we understand how the government and brokers and shippers see drivers/carriers as trash.
Hey but they love it when our drivers and trucks in general speaking for carriers who take their families the food clothing materials and so on they need.
Our small family run business is human with morals and values. But they are sub human scumbags who think they have eternal youth. And will spend all the money they have robbed. Or think their descendants will care. These type of people raise arrogant children. Their offspring will practically jump for joy when their parents are gone. All those lies and abuse those brokers did to end up with a fistful of dirt in the end of value. Them getting exposed nothing yet it will give them stress. Tired of scumbags who abuse innocent people.FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
I definately hear you on most everything you wrote.
Sounds like you have been under a lot of stress & I sure hope things get better. Sometimes this business can be pretty awful. I know it gets that way for me too, at times.
From one small business (with morals & values) to another, I wish the future brings you & your family nothing but happiness & prosperity.
✌️Sirscrapntruckalot Thanks this. -
I could keep on replying here to entertain the regulars who like to pick on the abused individuals like us. But unfortunately I got other more important things to do. But I will leave you with these bad reviews from google maps. I saw other bad reviews but I forgot the web page. Either way remember google maps blocks many bad reviews. So I was surprised to find some there. Keep in mind these reviews are from years ago. So can’t say it was us.
To make the regulars in this platform feel better I was always wrong and you are always correct. And to those who read and understand the message whom we mostly remain silent. I thank you
You are the essence of earth that make things worth it.
FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
ANOTHER life lesson for you.
I had about 20 years of farm trucks/army trucks BEFORE I got my CDL, and over 40 years after (and more than 10 of them as an O/O)... I have been doing this long enough that I rarely look at ANY board. I only take calls from brokers I know and trust. The only exception is if I am somewhere that one of my regulars cant get me out of, and honestly, I cant remember the last time that happened. Maybe 6 or so years ago coming out of Denver would be my guess.
So please, by ALL MEANS, enlighten me with your vast wisdom. I can hardly wait...

Sorry, but the bad review aspect means very little when they all have bad reviews. Most of the time it's these wannabe one truck chuck owner operators out there that are running a charity versus an actual business then they cry when the industry treats them accordingly. If you give any broker an inch, they will take you a mile.
