I'm taking Losartan and amlodipine with those I get a normal high 135-90 reading without them if I'm stresses I read 160-100

my reading with medications is 135-90 should I tell the company that? I know High Blood Pressure can exclude you from the job

It's in your medical records. No positive reading.

HBP does NOT keep you from getting a job, rather it keeps you rom getting a 2 year DOT medical card. You may only be able to get a one year medical card from now on. STAY ON your meds..!!

You need NOT tell your company about this, when they see your medical card, they will know you qualify.

as for the BP meds showing up in a DOT drug test, forgedaboudit.

Drugs tests only show drugs that their actively testing for. Way too many ways to lower the BP without meds, get on them. If you need the meds short term do what you gotta do but fix it the right way. That's nothing to play with.

No, BP meds do not show up on the drug test and I don't think you need to tell your company. However, you need to be honest with yourself. HBP is no laughing matter and if you are prescribed meds to control your BP then you need to be taking them as prescribed. I am not a Dr. or anything close to it, but I come from a family full of medical professionals, and it seem to me that your BP is still a bit high even on your meds, so I would think you need to incorporate some other methods to lower your BP such as sensible diet, exercise, fish oil, etc......wish you the best

Blood Pressure medications usually lead to a second and third medication. Those are to take care of the side effects of the Blood Pressure medication. Then, depending on the other two. You could take more medications. All the while, making he doctors tons of money in medications. Remember... Every drug is a toxin. Period.
You should watch Dr. John Bergman on youtube. Videos of his classes for his clients. There exists very good natural ways to treat medical problems. The big thing is "lifestyle".
