Beware- Diversified transfer and storage, claims to have a top pay and they have an incentive plan , but bottom line they find every excuse not to pay you. The new driver scorecard/ incentive ends up costing you in the long run. As a driver you are responsible for checking everyone elses work. You have to provide a schematic for each load that is in the trailer. If a terminal does not write a trip number and you turn the schematic in with your trip envelope , they will dock your pay. You spend an hour to an hour and a half each day doing paperwork that is not part of your pay. when you get your pay and there are deductions from advances you didnt take it is impossible to get refunded what they took. They have a guarantee miles pay yet dont tell drivers that there are circumstances to receive that pay. Which is very hard to get in the long run. A conversation was overheard where Fleet managers werr told to make sure the drivers dont get that extra bonus.
If another driver lets freight get damaged or have temp issues and you are the driver to finally deliver that freight, it goes against you.
When we worked for this company we was told that we would make top pay, and we did for the first few months then they started adding new proceedures and didnt tell the drivers about it. When you question or demand to be paid you are told if you dont like it go to work for S****! this compnay has been turned into the DOT for making drivers falsify logs. If you dont falisfy your logs and make them appear legit, they give you runs that dont pay. Then if you do something they dont agree with they can go back compare to the qualcom and let you go for falisifying the logs. Some Drivers are made to work 14-19 hour days. If you get an out of service you are docked 5 points on the scorecard. The turnover is ridiculaous.
They will tell you that they will put you in a new truck in a year, they dont. The christmas bonus is promised each year but each year right before the bonus is to be given you are told how the company is losing money and it can not be paid this year. Yet earlier in the year they claim they have made more money that year than any year prior. Sounds fishy.
Insurance deductable was 1000/2000 single /spouse/family it has doubled and the deductable has been raised to 2000/4000 depending on tha plan, before they pay anything. They had the deductable raised so it is cheaper on them. You end up paying almost 4000 before insurance pays anything. Most of us dont use that much to be worth what we have to pay in.
If you are injured on the job, good luck their claims dept wont process your claim and you will have to hire an attorney.
From the outside this looks like a good company. But all the promises they make are just that, empty promises. The dedicated drivers that have been with this company are now working for other companies. Beware if you are considering employment with this company.

Why is it people still work for companies that expect them to WORK for free (zero wages) and these people continue to perform this work for FREE when they know it's wrong on all levels?
Never allow any company to take such advantage over you. If you speak up and tell them NO or NOMORE then you will be a better person for it. -
yes and that is why they have let so many of their good drivers go. They are letting drivers go because they had a new operations manager that showed them how to royally screw over the drivers where they dont get the incentive unless you do all the qualcom macros. They keep on adding things and dont tell the drivers. Then when the drivers got their checks and questioned why they were not paid for something they were told new policy and you dont get paid because you did not do what they request. Isnt that illegal? I mean without notifying them of the changes? Lot of this is discussed in their once a month safety meetings and most of the drivers dont get to attend because they are out busting theit hump to make a dollar. Heard today they have been turned into the LABOR BOARD. Serves them right I suppose.

You have no other choice but to demand the pay they promised (not decided yesterday to change) and not provide your services for FREE!
Because the end result is the same; NO MONEY! -
Just talked to one of the drivers I worked with. Diversified has refused to pay her the guaranteed miles for several months. Making every excuse no to pay her what she earned. She is off for a workers comp injury and said DTS isnt helping. Basically told her to call State Fund and deal with it on her own. She is unable to work and no help from DTS. Anything they took out of her pay they are finding excuses not to pay her back. Last was a 125.oo over weight ticket. They owe her for all the guaranteed miles she didnt get paid for and since she has been out on the road for three months she didnt know it until she got back to the Billings terminal and saw her pay stubs. Jay Foley , owner of Diversifried is a snake. Even his own brother has been heard rumorred to be thinking about quitting. That is pretty bad.

I'm applying for this company now. I was really hoping to hear better news.

Better watch your paychecks and ask how many drivers have Quit in the last three months.

Drive by their lot during the week and see how many trucks are sitting there. Heard they are having to sell freight transport to other companies because so many drivers have quit.

Anybody else out there have any info on this company?
-
What prompted me to research them a bit before applying, BTW? Their online application form asks for your personal info (including SSN) on an unsecured web page!
