You take 81 north about 2 miles to US22 to State College PA that turns into 322 and you can the take I-99 to 80( it only 15 miles) or you can stay on 322 and come out at Woodland PA and get on 80 their. Their is one BIG pull by the dam

US 22 is first exit past 11/15 you can even run US 22 to 15 north If you want to til Milton PA or Williamsport PA. You just can run the first 10 miles or on 11. Their it Pilot truck stop on US 22

I usually cross the sunbury dam to the east bank and run north where it's flat and fast. If you continued up US15 above the dam on the west bank there is a One HELL of a hill to pull with a old platform scale to boot up there. Its just not worth it.

Hope this helps. The greens and purples are generally good. Check your atlas for possible low clearances.

I'm surprised there isn't a quarter slot on that book.

Where is your ending destination? That makes a difference. I usually run 76 but I’m at a company that doesn’t seem to mind paying tolls and usually headed to to the Midwest or west coast from there.

If your in the Harrisburg area needing to get 80w then yes 322w out to state college is a nice ride. Has a few pulls on it, but truck friendly. If you need to get to Williamsport Pa, or 80e, you may run US15 with a truck. But it must be north of 322. So 81n to 322w, then when you come to US-15 you may run that north you can Not run it south. US-15 is a good truck friendly road as well, that will run you up toward Sunbury, Lewisburg, and Williamsport. Also if you do find yourself on that small 12 mile stretch of US-15 that is restricted, don’t panic too much, there are No low bridges or anything like that. It was common to travel through there with a Rig until bout 20 yrs ago, they diverted all truck traffic 322e to 81 in order to avoid the small town of Marysville.

Man I love traveling that US 322 from Harrisburg back to 80...that usually means a 30 min break at Rutters on the way up for me. I like traveling that route better than the turnpike.
