So does this mean they want someone watching you pee in the cup? I don' think so!

This is for those that are for return to service who have had positive tests in the past.

I don't believe it will ever happen, because of privacy issues and harrassment claims.

I think an easier way to deal with this for those that have had positive tests in the past, would be to send them to a doctor's office, and have them put a gown on before they hit the cup. That way, they know the person has nothing with them that they should have. But, that's logical, so it would never happen!

i dont see a problem with it....it is after all how all 5 branches of this country's armed forces conduct a urine sample

granted it is wierd having anouther dude watching you pee in a cup, but there is very little chance of being able to tamper with it

compared to the dot wizz quiz's where i dont even have to empty my pockets, let alone show im not hidin a pregnant womans urine in a ziplock under my belt buckle.....

besides these so called proffessional "drivers" have already FAILED a previous test, or have just cause for suspision...they need thier privacy to drive high right!

I am not sure if I would really trust them or not even with the test.

thats insane.... being a truck driver is not the military.. The military you sign on the dotted line and they own you, therefore they can watch you pee in a cup...

We are talking about civilians.. We are not talking about soldiers under contract being paid by the federal government.. Noway should anybody be subjected as a civilian to be observed peeing in a cup..

LOL people who believe like yourself are going to allow every freedom in this country disappear.. Big brother does not need to control every aspect of our lives.. The government is not paying them so they should to be made to be observed..

If you are not made to empty your pockets and wash your hands before entering the restroom, the testing center is in violation...

So I should have someone watch me when I did my RTW sample? I was out for 90 days as required when I had a heart attack, you are putting me in the same group as someone who uses drugs??? That's just wrong. I am a driver if I do drugs I need to find another job.

trucker jo....did you not get a fedrally controlled license? complete with federal guidelines and rules
and in doing so allowed yourself to be stopped at any time and inspected? WITHOUT CUASE BTW.....

guess what big fella, the citizens and polititons of this country could give two shats about your privacy....after all you do drive the big, "dangerous" trucks that are "known" to be driven by junkies, flunkies and sosiety rejects

rik...there should be a medical excemption....but for those who have FAILED a previous test, yes i think they need to be directly observed

Government does not sign my checks our million other truckers checks.

Politicians may not care about my privacy but most citizens in America do not think as you do when you suggest "citizens could care less about their privacy"

And what you fail to realize if they allow it for truckers then that is just one more step towards allowing them to do it with anybody they want..
1 step at a time taking our freedoms away...
People such as yourself are to willing to allow the Constitution to mean nothing.
