He may be good as gold, or a flake that won't be there if you have problems later with performance. Like some of these "CB repair guys" that are here today, gone tomorrow.

Any dealer or anyone with the software for that matter can turn up or reflash your computer you can also send off your ECM and have it done I have heard of lots of people burn up there ECM after someone going into it and not know what there doing
Good lucktrain1478 Thanks this. -
Those "diesel doctor" jokers, be they from Texas or Effingham IL are as worthless as dealers for ecm tunes. Do yourself a favor and search through the garage section of this forum for that.

sounds like the one that was in wildwood fl for a while

Every town has a guy with software that calls himself the "Diesel Doctor". I can name 6 places off the top of my head that have some joker running around doing stuff to peoples trucks. If you did not buy your truck new, and it came from a fleet, it will most likely have a password to do any modifications anyways. I would not trust ANY of these guys to tune a thing on my truck. The only "tunes" they will have are stock files for engines anyways, nothing modified to save fuel or gain power. per say you have a 425 CAt, best they can do is download a 550hp file MAYBE, if they really do anything at all.

if its a CHEAP fix to make your truck run better i would be careful. remember the old saying(you get what you pay for)

I used one years ago. But that was just to turn the truck up. Not any tunes.
