Diesel Cummins Tow Truck PTO switch

    My question is ,, I accidentally left the door open on my tow truck and also the toggle switch was flipped on to the PTO it's ran by belt from the motor and is automatic would it do anything bad if it was left on an ran battery dead the truck wasn't running it was off ,and one more question I popped a line so I emptied the tank of oil will it not work cause it did before I emptied it ,yes I'm new to all of this thanks.....

    Naw shouldn't give you no trouble. Unless it's a ####ty switch, but it's meant to be engaged, eventually as the voltage creeps down to about 11 volts there won't be enough juice so it would open the clutch on the engine sooner than later.
