Did PRIME INC. Buy Out TRL?

Prime has acquired TRL and is in the process of integrating them in to their system. I believe it was official around early Dec. Most of the TRL equipment was leased and is being returned to the vendors. It was kept pretty quiet apparently.

it was not quiet it was on there news page on there website they aquired them a few months ago

 

that was the first I had heard of it. Of course ive been on the road.
when i was researching companies I thought about them..but since I dont have a team partner, that was one reason i decided not to join on. Well I have heard rumors through my company that a lot of companies are downsizing and around the 1st of the year some will shut doors just havent heard who or know how true this is. Rumor had it we would buy some of the refer companies to boost our freight volumn. but time will tell

Yes, Prime did buy out TRL. My trainer's dad was with them and just got pulled to the Prime side as a company driver. I believe Wil-Trans is our's too now.

 

Wil-trans is a seperate company that pulls Prime logistics freight...

seems like back in the late 80's TRL was a good company, I knew two drivers that drove there and they were quite happy.....but that was a long time ago..
