Detroit diesel series 60 12.7 additional fuel filter mount. Pressure tested. Installed on the fuel intake side (tanks to engine) before Davco 382 filter / water separators.
* See fuel filter number for cross reference search.
* fuel line (brown color) is 5/8 in size hi temp nilon hose.
* fittings, if i remember correctly, are 3/8 or half inch or 5/8. visit Baldwin website for accurate mount information or take the whole mount to the same place the hoses are sold at to ask. one straight in. one elbow. 2 screw in caps.
* There is a flow on/off switch at the exit to davco intake, It is optional, when replacing the Baldwin filter mount filter only. please zoom in at the picture to see. silver color.
* Thread locker high temp used. red color.
* Filter needs to be prefilled along with the Davco. No lag. No drag. No chocke. on startup.

Seems like putting a filter before the Davco, defeats the benefit of having a Davco. You're back to guessing when the spin-on needs to be changed. I would always have the Davco as the primary.
