Or for a relatively cheap fix.... www.egrtuner.com

I know a few guys that have gotten this and like it. So it must work.

Wow... sure got lost on that comment and cannot figure out what you are trying to state. Yes, I did look at the site before I posted it. I haven't seen the actual product, but then, I don't have a Detroit Series 60 that would need it, so wouldn't make a lot of sense for me to buy it. As for the rest of your comment, you lost me, except that you called it a PS, but unless you have used it, not sure that means anything. The cost of the thing is $309 to the front door. That seems pretty reasonable compared to $3000 ECM tunes and such. And if it gave just a tenth mpg better, the ROI is still pretty quick. I have heard from those that use it, anywhere from that tenth up to 4/10ths. At least this thing, even if it doesn't give "hold the presses" type of mpg increases, is not very expensive and one would not lose their shirt doing it. Heck, this thing is cheaper than magic tubes you stick in your fuel line and other snake oil products.

The add said it will pay for itself in the first 3,800 miles or two weeks it also said it can save you $100 a day and I didn't mean to say PS this auto spell sucks I was trying to say BS

I meant to say, put it on another dyno, take it to another shop, but I see you've already done all that. Send me a PM with your email adress and I can send you the Detroit EGR s60 Tech Guide.

    A small sample.

im new to this message board, but so far with all the reading i have done, the barometric sensor trick seem to be the first thing i would try, its cheap an easy, i will be doing it to my 05 century with a series 60 as soon as i can get home,, i dont know how to show a link or any thing like that, just look up egr delete/barometric sensor, you should find it,, good luck,

Most ads will inflate what the return is. Come on... I assume you are not new to this country and haven't seen ads before! But I do know of at least 3 guys that are using the product and have averaged .4 to .5 mpg better fuel mileage. It does work like it is described. If you don't want to try it, that's cool. Even if it saved only .1 or .2 mpg, at least it would be cost effective and virtually eliminate the goofy EGR problems. It sure isn't like you are having to break the bank and take out a loan to buy the thing. We're only talking a few hundred bucks here. Most folks spend that kind of money on goofy stuff that will never make them any money or save them any money.
