    I’m in need of some help. I have a 2005 Freightliner Columbia Detroit 60 s 14L should I get a egr delete kit or should I keep my turbo n v-pod and go with a bigger Manifold and pipe. (Please help)

    Even Bruce Malinson at Pittsburgh Power is saying no more emissions deletes .... or at publicly he is saying that ....
    I can’t speak to Detroit’s but every Cummins I have deleted made a very big improvement. If I would add all the other mileage and performance goodies I could add 3 mpg and as much as 200 horse power. Yes it was that big of an improvement and the engine oil would stay really clean for a long time.

    I think the fine to a shop is now 10K for doing a delete if caught. Don't think you'll see many advertising for it.

    You can always look into Pittsburgh Power's Dorothy system to remove soot from your intake air while still being 100% legal. That along with their tuning will be a great setup. They have satellite partner shops all over the country that can do a tune for you also.
