Yes. More than a few times. Using my pickup, which is owned and insured thru my LLC. Couple times borrowed a car trailer off a buddy.
reefer101 Thanks this. -
Just be aware, if you're getting paid for this, you fall under DOT regulations as you're now a commercial vehicle.
-
If you're involved in any kind of accident your ordinary auto insurance will leave you out to hang - does not cover commercial use.

Sounds like a future U Ship hauler. lol
-
You have to have your vehicle on your commercial policy/scheduled vehicle. Or see above comments for insight on the consequences

Meaning a claim can be denied to the vehicle and you'll eat the cargo.
-
As long as there is a napkin and something to drink.
-
ok will put my mc# on my old 4runner and cargo ensurance
-
Yep. I got done with the day and dispatch told me to take a single sheet of metal to the Bronx. I loaded it into my car and drive there and then home. The look on the forklift guys face was priceless. But with what you mentioned, get your truck under an llc which will be better.
reefer101 Thanks this.
