Im looking for people that have done or have had it done. Boss took his truck in to a shop cause it was throwing a 9-3 code for iva as i understand. The shop has 2 options, 1: fix the pair of solenoids for 1100 or round about there or 2: unplug pigtails and delete the ivas out of the ecm. Others have now told me this might not be smart. If anyone has experience with doing this or ha ing this done then please hit with the pros and cons. Thanks

Do not delete the vva’s unless you lower the compression (have to change pistons) to do this.
Leave them as stock unless your willing to basically rebuild the engine .....Oxbow and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
It's a c13 it''s never to soon to rebuild !!! If it's pretty 07 Go get a c12 and drop on it or is that illegal?

I don’t know much about the c-13 but a acert will kill the head gasket if you disable the vva’s..... not tomorrow but it will happen down the road.....
