    Hey all,

Just got enrolled in Delaware Technical college for my CDL A school. Just wanted to see if anyone else will be going in January? I'll be doing the night classes since I work full time. Let me know if anyone is starting at the same time so we can get together and meet before class starts.

Good luck! I just moved out of Delaware. Lived in Clayton for 13 years and was going to go to DE Tech, but put trucking on the back burner for now.

I've been wanting to getting my CDL for some time and recently looked into Del Tech but can't afford it at this time. I do hope to complete my training by the end of 2011.

If I can't come up with the funds for training I will have to go at it on my own,

Have you looked into Financial Aid? I know Del tech has an office that would be willing to help you with it. Also, have you looked into the WIA program? Might be something you want to check out so you can get your CDL sooner than later.

I will give FA a try but it looks more like I will do it on my own.

Classes are going good! It's hard to go to the evening classes and the weekends as well. 6 days a week plus a full time job is very tiresome. The instructors are very professional and the class work is very useful. I'm at the end of my 3rd week now and so far it's been great...... I have another thread in the "schools" section and I will be documenting the entire time I'm there and what we learn...
