What are you seeing out their? Is it false or real issue. Shortage of tires is real 2 dealers (honest dealers)( guys with national accounts can't get them) can't or are having a hard time getting drives. No supply out their. Steers are the same way.

It's mostly only countries who get their urea from China that are having shortages. We produce most of our own here in the US, so not really an issue here.

    Carbamide?

Noting that fertilizer prices have tripled, (source - my chiropractor farmer),

And seeing Australia is reliant on China, who shut off exports till mid 2022, (The Guardian),

And yesterday my local hardware store told me guys were coming in from out of town looking for DEF.

    I’m in a ‘95, so I’m out of touch -

Can you point me to a source regarding the USA’s production of Urea? I figure this last season’s hurricanes may have affected cancer alley’s output of product - like the Tri-chlor pool sanitizer shortage . . .

Fertilizer prices are up because like oil, the price for urea is based on the global market price. We might experience some shortages if we greatly increase exports of DEF as countries look for supplies. Australia, and South Korea are in a world of hurt because they were getting 100% of their supply from China.

What we do have a shortage of in the US is DEF sensors because of the chip production issues around the world.

I don't buy bulk, and haven't seen any truck stop DEF dispensers with bags on them yet. I don't drive my pickup often enough to use much. The local auto parts always has a 2.5 gal jug when I need some. A tanker driver I know of tells me he's hauling loads of it to terminals around his area, so it must not be shortage there. Or he'd be hauling something else that goes in a tank, like corn oil or gasoline.

I hope the country runs out of DEF for 6 months. By then, the scam would be over since I bet 80% of you would eliminate that #### from your trucks if it meant not being able to get it. Stop buying it, and it goes away.

TA said oil filters are somewhat scarce. They only had two types of oil instead of there five options. So......

Which I don't get, oil refineries pay well.

A farmer told me urea is three times the cost year over year.
