Hello all, so my 2016 Freightliner Cascadia (dd15) truck was losing power while driving. 3 fault codes that said service emissions. So I had to get a forced regen that didn’t help. Changed my fuel filter, that didn’t help. Now when the truck cranks it does not stay on after a few seconds. Also looks like on my passenger side where my def tank is at it has smoke coming out of it. Any thoughts on what the issue could be? Help please.

Welp my friend sorry to say your boned. Most likely issues in order are, clogged dpf, clogged/contaminated SCR, clogged egr, clogged doser and so on and/or cracked pipes

Best bet is to get it into a shop and have them dig into it to see whats clogged or broken.

Before fooling with any of that check for updates I peed thru about 900 bucks. Just to find out it needed a software update.
To date best 119.00 I've spent

Smoke? Look for exhaust leak before anything else.
