Def filter removal on a 2019 Peterbilt with a Cummins.

    How does the Def filter come out on 19 peterbilt cummins. I cannot twist it and can't pull it out. Doesn't come with a tool either.

    Not a pete, but this guy does a good at the job. Same pump thats used on 2017 and newer Pete and KW.

    Big pair of channellocks or knipex pliers to twist. They are usually pretty tight. The new filer should have the new plug too. The old filter should pull out, sometimes they can be kind of stuck too if there was a lot of restriction.

    If changing due to contamination you should flush system with distilled water

    If changing because of a contamination issue, you should flush the system with distilled water
