    IMG_2946.JPG IMG_2948.JPG hello comrades,
I am having an issue with starting my 14l S60 after 1 day or more of sitting still. I took apart my return line check valve at the back of the engine and it looked like the first springed valve has a tiny hole in it. The second one is alike but with no hole. I figured, that probably the valves are misplaced and this could be the reason it drains fuel back to the tanks. so I reinstalled the valve with no hole on top of the valve. I haven't tried this set up yet. Had anyone of you have taken apart the check valve? What should be the assembly order?
    Any help appreciated.
I on my end will update the thread, whether this was the root cause of my problem.

    You better be carfull.
That valve returns fuel to the tanks.
It also stops fuel from draining out of the fuel rail after you shut the engine off.

If you screw around with it and it can't return fuel then you run the risk of extremely high fuel pressure when the engine is running. That could blow the O-rings on your injectors.

I would recommend just replacing it with a new one.

I have and I do not remember. If you are not sure I would do like swaan said. Repaired one by replacing o-rings but if you mix things up injector o-rings would be the least of my concerns. I replaced an NTC one time and a mudd dobber had filled in the return line. Sounded like that beast turned 5.000 RPM with a 1/4" steel plate on the turbo inlet before it shut down.
