Ok, I bought the truck in Canada. The headlights are on when the switch is on. There are 4 light switches. From left to right cab lights only, trailer lights, headlights and finally tail and side lights. Headlights are always on, but lower than low beam. Turn on either Headlights or tail side lights, tail side lights and trailer lights come on, so it really needs 2 switches, Headlights and cab lights. It has chicken lights, but they were disconnected by the shop because they interfered with turn signals.
What I want; daytime Headlights off, and all switches only doing 1 thing. Cab lights, fine. trailer lights turned on only by trailer light switch. Headlight switch only turning on Headlights, and finally tail and side only turning on tail and side. I could put chicken lights on trailer switch.
The question is, how? especially turning off daytime lights.

Don't know about KW's, but my Volvo has a DRL Module in the Fuse Box that you just remove and the DRL will not turn on, but the Headlights will work normally.
Dye Guardian and Bean Jr. Thank this. -
I don't think this works the same way. I should have given more info. It's a 94 W900L.

Should be a relay for the daytime lights, pull it and save for a spare.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
there is a day time light module in the dash, just unplug it. it is usually found behind the panel next to the glove box and could be Velcro to the bottom of the dash.

I'll check both these suggestions.

You need Volvo PTT w/Devtool to change.

Need to simply change parameters under light control module, i highly doubt dealers would do it since they are considered safety factors right now.
