2006 W900L with 72" Studio. Was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with this. There are 3 kits that I have found. Fibertech, Prarie Tech, and Daycab Co. Fibertech is the only one that doesn't replace the roof, and the back cap just goes in place of the sleeper. In my opinion, that doesn't look as nice as the other 2 options but probably the easiest. I am leaning towards the Prairie Tech kit. Anybody out there have any advice? Would probably attempt the conversion myself, and of course these are one of the hardest trucks to daycab!
PS: Not interested in leaving the sleeper. Both sides have damage and is in rough shape. I have another truck with a sleeper and they don't bother me, but for what I do it would be nicer not to have one. Mainly around the farm and hauling silage in and out of fields. If it was in better shape I would just leave it, but it is in rough shape and this will allow me to shorten the truck as well.

No, I would by the kit myself and do all the work myself, and paint myself also. I have seen them when they are done, and they look just like factory Day Cab.

Check with dealer, they can get you the back of the cab or even better the new extended day cab setup. then find a good body shop to do the work. Good luck.

Talked to my Kenworth dealer and just the back panel for it was way more than the complete kit form fibertech which they also sell so he only quoted me he fibertech kit.
