Hi guys,
What is the average weight of a daycab in compared to a sleeper? I tried to do some research online and could not get anything. I just want to have the lightest equipment setup as I will haul heavier dry van loads

Daycabs, from what I remember, were usually around 16/17,000 ish. I believe Freightliner has the lightest tractor. Sleeper cabs add a lot, over a ton, I bet. Don't forget fuel. At 7lbs/gallon, big tanks another grand easy. If short haul, go with small tanks.

rockeee Thanks this. -
Your typical freight truck day cab should run around 16-17k. When you start looking at trucks with heavy rears and wet kits, they usually run 20-22k.

I drive a 2017 Mack Pinnacle with a hydraulic pump. With a full load of fuel and DEF tank the truck weighs in at 16,600 pounds.

Ahh gotcha thank you!
What is the average weight of an empty dry van? -
Usually the sleeper adds about 2000 lbs to the weight
