I've seen different holders for Phones or Tablets that mount with a suction cup. I wondered if these were really reliable or if they'll fall off.
My trainer had one for his phone on the window, but I was hoping to have a larger one hold a tablet from the dashboard.

The new holders have a sticky pad not the hard plastic like the original models. they will stick to an irregular/textured surface just fine. I no longer have anything mounted to the windshield except transponders. phone, 7" GPS, 10" tablet all are mounted with these and were on previous truck for two years without falling off. Been in new truck since Mar and no problems. They get your device closer to you and eliminate any headaches with rules about mounting to windshield. Some states prohibit it but I don't remember which, doesn't apply to me now.
Bracketron has a line of them available and there are one or two others available. -
Lots of this stuff can be found at select Loves truck stops

Okay quite a few I was looking at used suction cups which I might trust on a window but not the dashboard.
I'll look into the ones that stick on or see what Love's has. -
I have a nite-ize stuck on my semi-rough dash panel to hold my iPhone and the adhesive they use is good and I'm sure their tablet setups are well designed too. But there are plenty of other products out there too and I'm sure most work fine.

These can be found in truck stops. I use the Tablet mount and it worked well on my car dash. Just have to clean it first.

I have one of the original ones about 3yrs old now right? I was skeptical like everyone else that they would work, but it was stuck to the top of the dash and held my tablet hanging over the edge for two years with no problem. In the new truck it is stuck to the front panel and again no problem. They work amazingly well. -

RAM mounts.
Google them.
They very good as they absorb vibrations. -
I have a "cup holder mount" that holds my tablet. Run Google maps or other route information I need
VIDEODROME Thanks this.
