@Thrasher28 worked there fairly recently. He can give you the rundown whenever he comes along.

    I'll give a run down:

Lanes: Lots of east and west, not much north to south. You'll do lots of Texas, Cali, and Arizona back towards Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, etc.. Average miles per load are decent, but you will occasionally get shafted by a short run where you waste a day. Average weekly miles are hit or miss. I wouldn't count on averaging more than 2500 on a weekly basis, but you might get lucky and do well on mileage.

Equipment: Has the same issues as a lot of drop and hook companies -- unpredictable trailers. You might get a great, brand new trailer, or a raggedy old pile with a list of issues. Trucks are ONLY T680's, which is good IMO, but they do run them out a bit longer than lots of companies. You're liable to be in a truck til 650-700k miles, but you might get a brand new truck off the bat. All comes down to availability when you hire. They have APU's and spec'd decent. I wasn't a fan of steel wheels and recaps on a truck, but it's not the end of the world. All trucks come with a CB if you don't have your own.

Pay: Fairly low cpm, but if you get a nice 2000 mile to/from CA, it gets made up for. They're a little stingy with layover pay. It only applies if you're not under dispatch. So, they can slap a 100 mile load on you and have you sit for 36 hours with it and not owe you a dime. The breakdown pay doesn't start for 24 hours, but it is a good rate. I think it was 200 or 250 per day. I made 1200 or so sitting in a hotel in PA one week, so I enjoyed it then lol.

The people: my dispatcher was a bit of a tool. Not once did I ever hear good morning, have a good weekend, thank you, you're welcome, etc. He always seemed like he was annoyed when I called maybe once every other week. The shop guys are friendly at all terminals with a shop. Really good techs that did quick work. Payroll, safety, etc. were all fine. I didn't speak to any of them much.

Terminals: Some terminals are nice and some are bare minimum. El Paso and Mountain City had some proper terminals. Lebanon, TN is just a drop yard with a bathroom basically. Laredo is the same way, but they do have a shop there. Nogales has a shower and a shop.

Overall: Would be a decent option for a newer driver looking to get a coast to coast adventure. Lots of good lanes and they avoid a lot of the bad weather up north, since they run south of I-70 90% of the time. I can't say I'd recommend it to someone very experienced -- the pay, inconsistent miles, etc. just makes it not worth it IMO.

    I'd give them a 6/10 rating.

Thanks Thrasher28 it sounds good to me I've been off the road for a while will have to go the refresher route... I like the TX,AZ,CA back to IN,OH,TN routes... I'm a retired MLB player who loves trucking and DHT is a Family atmosphere from what I read on the company website and it's not far from Columbia,Sc so I think imma give them a call and see if I'm in their hiring area... not worrying about the $$$ part of things just love the open road and the piece of mind that comes with it!!! Thanks again
