Dallas parking. HELP!!

Of course, in helping someone find a parking spot in a particular city, knowing from which direction your coming in from and a general area of the delivery is always better. Sending someone clear across town for a parking spot doesn't help.

 

For future ref, worse case scenario you can park on the Grady Niblo on/off ramps off of spur 408 north or south. Nothing at that exit except an apartment complex and a mega church. Very light traffic and surprisingly quiet for its location.

Big D is a good choice too. My yard is a few miles from them. We used to use them for PM’s when our mechanic was swamped. Indian owned and they are really good people.

But the one time I stayed in Dallas, Texas I slept in a Sears drop yard... So, no, again.

 

You might find a spot at US Cold Storage in Arlington itself. But only if you are a Reefer trailer etc and can blend in.

Otherwise it's Lancaster to the east for the stops there.

A small tip about arlington, it is not a nice town. You do not want to be down there any longer than you need to be.

 

I've only delivered to Arlington once but I'd rather take my chances there than at those TS in Lancaster

 

What about the fabulous Loves off of 20 in S Dallas? So much easy parking it's ridiculous

 

Almost forgot about that one. I think Christmas day in 1996 was the last time there was an open spot there.

 

Found me a nice little secret hidey hole in Grand Prairie. Didn’t find out about it until after I reserved me a spot at South TA. Really miss Mesquite.

 

Does the Flying J on I-30 ex 470 not believe in security? There are hookers, hustlers, beggars, and other questionable characters slithering in the lot both day and night. Even had somebody pound on my sleeper for no reason at all. Don't come here unless you've got no other choice.
