Any drivers here has made deliveries to cvs dc in la habra California know if the Google reviews claiming a 6 hour wait for a dock is true or not ? I will be making a delivery there but will only have 2yrs remaining to drive and don't want to be stuck there out of hrs.

I know but my company says this load has to be there today at 1530 other wise my company will fail the load. Oh well I will see what happens maybe the ones who left the reviews miss there appt and were work ins that would explain the long wait too

I've had to take my 10 at quite a few customers after I chech in and after my 10 get a door. In my opinion the detention rates should be high enough for the companies it motivates them to actually work.

True and the ones who left the reviews also mention lumper fees of 428 and 450 to unload the trailer. I also forgot to mention I am pulling reefer trailer this time.

Yeah another problem some stopes they would pay me maybe $100 to unload full trailer which was not worth it but they would pay lumperd $400 plus. Again nobody cares about drivers. The ones that do a few and far away.

You are probably right trooper. A lot has changed over the years and not in a good way.

I've never been to that particular CVS, but I've been to many over the years. As a rule, you can plan on 6-8 hours to get unloaded at any CVS DC. They almost always will let you finish your break there though. Some let you stay in the door until your break is up and some have parking spots for OTR drivers to finish a break.

Don't worry, driver. With all the traffic down there. You won't have any hours to drive away. And if your worried about 2 hours left. Doesn't sound like your close and didn't account for traffic in your trip plan. You might not make your appt. time. And cali is a union state. Plan on 2 days getting unloaded. they take a coffee break after every pallet unloaded. :)
