Has anyone had the interior of their factory 63 or 70 sleeper customized? What did you have done? By who? How much? DIY? Pics?
I personally love pete stand ups, but their interior lay out is 1980s tech and have wasted space. The newer models are pretty, but chinsy. So I'd like to kinda redesign an interior with old quality and new layout and electronics...ie USB ports, better shelving, fridge, practical use of overhead space, maybe a sink. I also loved the fold up bed with the table and bench seats pete used to have on the first 70" models with the ##### door, but I'd rather it be a twin size instead of a full. Anyway, suggestions, ideas, and any experience are appreciated

I think the only way to go is to do it yourself... You are right. Peterbilt has the worse sleeper layout design, atleast the 300 series trucks... The 579 ive been in it was better but like you said chinsy... Ive often thought of ripping all the cabinets out and redesigning the sleeper myself

I stick with quality over creature comforts.. I have 3 Cigarette lighters in my truck those 10.00 adapters that plug in the lighter with USB ports work just fine for me ..lol
