Can anyone shine some light into Custom Commodities? Home time, pay, overall work environment?

I applied with them a few months ago and got a really good impression of the company while talking to the recruiter. He said they haul dry bulk and liquids, and I got the impression that activated carbon was one of their biggest products. Judging by their terminal locations I assume most of their work is along the Gulf Coast and in the south and midwest.

76cpm loaded, 52cpm empty, quarterly safety bonus, and lots of extra pay for accessorials and activities (hazmat, vacuuming a load, truck and trailer washes, washouts, attending the weekly video driver meeting, roadside DOT inspection with no violations, etc.). They said I'd gross about $2000 per week. 3% match on the 401(k).

I was ready to hire on but then they said they don't allow pets which is a deal-breaker for me.

My buddy applied their some months back. He asked my opinion, and when I looked them up, I think I remembered liking the pay package and perks. He ended up not getting hired because of a speeding ticket.

I'm making a jump to pulling tankers and trying to narrow down my options. So far I got Caledonia Haulers, Custom Commodities, California Overland and Oakley
