We had a Reviva Cummins installed in Sept. 21. It was originally supposed to be a 15 day build with a 5 day delivery, turned into nearly 40 day time. Made it 14,000 miles, Oct. 8th to Nov.5th, 2021. Engine making metal. Rings installed incorrectly, liner protrusion under spec, rocker shafts and rocker arms worn out and head looks as if the cam bearings were never replaced. Everything that came bolted to engine leaked.
Shop ended up having to do a complete inframe. Warranty was honored, however Reviva sent wrong parts and low quality parts, not Cummins. It has taken 3 months to get parts and rebuild completed. Engine lasted less than 3 hours run time. Currently awaiting word on latest failure and resolution... it is now Feb, 2022. -
The cheap place I work for uses Reviva exclusively for everything they can get from them. Haven’t had any ISXs but lots of gas engines an MBE Mercedes. Very poor quality on everything that comes from them. I would run fast.

Thanks for the input guys. I ended up going with a long block straight from Cummins. They quoted a Reviva long block at 17k with no injectors (stupid), 19k with injectors, and 24k for one from Cummins. I would have been an idiot to try to save that 5 grand. I’m sure it would have come back to bite me 10 fold.
