Engine tag says it was originally a NTC 300 but has since been stamped 350 and CPL 450. Hard to tell if it was just pump adjustment to get 350hp but with them changing the CPL, it may have been done right???????

The CPL should be on a tag on the pump. If you post pics of both side of the engine
I might be able to identify it.
It was not uncommon to build an engine to a different CPL when doing an overhaul.

Hard to say, it was delivered as a 300 @1800. Just letting the governor out to 2100 it’s probably at 350. That CPL could be good for as much as 400 though. You’d have to run the number to see whats in it. Re-stamping the plate kind of points to Cummins or a Cummins authorized shop doing the work at least.
