I just took this off, and discovered the bearing is behind an o ring and a cap on this idler. Trying to do some preventive maintenance on this engine, as its fairly new to me, but has miles on it.
Can you just pack grease in this type of bearing? There is a shield for lack of better terms on the back side of the bearing, but not on the front. Not much grease in it when i pulled the cap off.
