    my question is has anyone deleted all the emmisions stuff and got rid of the vgt turbo on a isx cummins and then put the pdi camshaft in the motor to help your jake brakes my question is how is the camshaft performing and does it really up the boost on the jakes did you notice any performace upgrades also thanks

    We installed one for a customer. Yes it works better. No it does not make it as good as a vgt turbo. Overall he was happy with it and said he will do it again on his next truck. Helped out on the long downhills. He heavy hauls and needs all the jakes he can get.

    No pdi makes a cam that increases your jakes If you don’t have a vgt turbo

    I was getting at if you used them in conjunction with each other you would get awesome jake brakes like I have heard of the x15's.
