Cummins ISX Air Compressor Problem

    wow, sounds like iḿ lucky to have never had cummins:) cats seems like the last of the good american engines. Although, I never had paccard engine. Not sure how they compare:)

    That is not very fair. I believe his ISX has a Wabco compressor but it could be something else. He did not say. Many Macks and other equipment use them. Cummins used to normally use their own compressor and an unloader kit would often fix them. Then changed to Holset. Compressor problems I see most have Cat on the side of them. Pumping oil and even some replacements doing the same thing. One did not build air. It is also not very fair on my part to tell you what I see the most air compressor problems when those are about the only late model trucks around here.

    Yeah, he didn't say what he has. I think most Hostel compressors are pretty reliable and last a long time.

    I’m having the same problem, while driving it will stay at 120psi and out of the blue would dropped to 95
