I am working on a 1987 Pete 377 with a 400 cummins the truck has been sitting for more than 3 years and it started but was very slugish they changed the fuel filter and then the truck would not start at all so I came in and found holes in the main feen fuel line and the cross over line from tank to tank and still will not start

Fill the gear pump with fuel through the plug hole on top of the pump, fill fuel filter, screw the fuel solenoid thumb screw in to manual.

Screw it in for manual and back out for electrically controlled with key on/off. Once you get it running decent then screw the thumbscrew back out and verify operation of the fuel solenoid and circuit.

You don't need to bleed the injectors on a PT fuel system. Prime the gear pump and filter and hold the pedal to the wood when cranking it up.
