CSX 59TH (Chicago, IL)

Does anyone else absolutely LOATHE this railyard? Dear god.. it's so frustrating to enter this railyard. Cant wait until they intergate their systems to become like CSX Bedford Park such as electronic ingate/outgate, ect.

But man, they have some of the worst crane/spotter/customer service individuals out there. They're about as bad as CSX Bedford Park's Night Driver assistance team... those ladies are ruthless and hate their jobs.

 

I have come to a conclusion that I wish the worst for this railyard. Incompetent ######## run this place. Today was the breaking point. I almost got into it with the driver assistance.

Me: I cant find a chassis.
Driver Assistance: In our system, it shows there's about 30.
Me: Im on the phone with this dispatch .. (you can hear dispatch yelling THERES NO ####ING CHASSIES !!!! #### YOUR SYSTEM)
Driver Assistance: Is that your dispatch yelling? tell them to clean their eyes and request a e-z booking.
Me: Do you hear that? (Dispatch proceeds to yell, THERES NO E-Z BOOKING OUT OF CSX 59TH.. what part do you guys not understand)
Driver Assistance: There is something wrong with your E-Z Booking website.
Me: (thinking to myself ... oh boy).
Driver Assistance: Picksup the other phone... and it was my dispatch.

Long story short, after assistance shut the phone in my dispatchs face, they told me to leave the terminal. LOL. Man, you got to really piss off my dispatch for them to go off, literally. Never heard the guys at the office so angry the past two days because of CSX 59th. It was quite sad actually...

 

On a side note.. enjoying our discount fuel at the terminal...$1.77 a gallon.. YA BUDDY!!!
