Go to a dealership for your truck model. I'm sure they can get it for you. I have/had one in my Freightliner. When my trans was replaced the tech just cut the wires up the shaft. It was an easier install. I guess.
May be try. Fleetpride. I would get an authentic eaton brand shift knob. Not the off brand.

Last one of those I had was on an original 379 extended hood with a mechanical 425 Cat. It was made by King Controls and was the gnats #####. You had a toggle switch to turn it off and on, a button to press to set it then a knob you could easily roll with your finger to fine tune the speed. Then at night, just roll the knob counter-clockwise and hit the button then roll the knob to adjust your idle speed.

Yes it lacked resume and such but if you came upon someone and needed to back off you just roll the knob back a little then when you go to pass roll it wide open, make the pass then roll it back to where you were. Loved it and wish someone had something that would work in a similar fashion on newer motors.

I have the steering wheel controls but HATE those stupid things, my hand rests right where the stereo volume is and I can't count the number of times while turning that I have turned the cruise on, set it, turned it off, adjusted the stereo, placed a phone call, blinked lights, changed trip meter settings, turned stuff off/on/up/down. Nothing gets a post trip going better than rolling down the highway with the tunes thumping then muting them as you exit to the truck stop then while backing in you accidentally un-mute the previously thumping stereo only to have AC/DC right in the middle of a full on scream.

If you remember the pete's I had, most had the CC/Jake on the shifter knob. Wasn't room on the dash for the switches.

Yep, it's one of yours I was referring to. And 1505 (brown flat top FLD) had the King Control as well.

You're not senile yet if you can still remember a truck# from 20 years ago. How about the PMS truck? Did it as a joke and they liked it.

Turbo3, go to pete and they can order it. Going to need the wiring harness also. I might be able to get a vin# that has one.

We added them to our 07 379's, the part # is 5586032 for the switch assembly, which is a Roadranger part # that you can get anywhere, Pete dealers are high. The harness you'll have to get from Pete though.

    You'll need:
P92-6465 - Wiring Harness, Cruise Control Adapter
P92-6646 - Wiring Harness Jumper, Shift Cruise Control Adapter

Make sure that you leave a little slack at the switch and zip tie the wires good to the shiftier. The switches are fragile and if the wires are pulling on it, it breaks them.
