i was told that my background check came out pretty good and my recruiter said they dig in deep. But i was told by a few ppl that attended the school said they was told the same thing but when they got there they were pulled to the aside and told that they background was not clear. they had a misdameanor but was accepted. now they got to go back home. is that true? dont they do background checks before someone can be accepted? I was told i was accepted and have a misdameanor and was scheduled to come but i dont want to gt up there and end up coming back home. i really want to drive trucks and make a career. just dont want to be stood up. can someone please answer this post? someone who have been accepted and currently driving for cre?

CR England or any other company had to do an ongoing back ground check, it's not always completed before you get there.

put anything down on your app that you think might be a consurn. that way they will look at that first. if you leave that kind of stuff off your app. and the company finds it later they treat it like your not being honest with them.

so if you were told that it was cleared you shouldn't have a problem. but i would bring any paperwork of dismissal or adjudication or anything explaining just what it was just in case.

my brother was on unemployment and we didn't think we needed any thing from them about that but unemployment is like an employer it has to be verified.
CR England couldn't verify our schooling and were going to send us home but i had the for site to bring our certificates even tho our recruiter said not to worrie about them.

we both have sleep apnea and I read on this site about some one being sent home for a sleep study so we went to our doctor and got a letter of compliance. when cre was going to send us home for that i handed them the letters and said this is what you need. the administrator said o you have it covered then good job.

one of my students told me they had cataract surgery done years ago and were going to be sent home to get a letter from their doctor clearing them. but they didn't want to go home so he went to the k mart that had an optometrist and had a eye exam the doctor wrote he had excellent vision and if they had any questions to call him.

so like they tell you if your on any meds bring them to the physical and a note from your doctor. that way theirs no questions and your not sent home. :biggrin_2558:

I am not a fan of England, you will never see me telling anyone to go there. But after trying decifive what was that you had written, I thought about this: if you had been running for a while, you should be aware of CR England and the Prime Minister. Without mentioning any company leasing. You will never owned the truck. This is not how it is implemented. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. If you are a driver of new entrants into this industry, you should never even think of an owner-operator.
