What account? What location? Most have a guaranteed minimum. Most have mileage pay PLUS hourly pay (Walgreen's will usually pay mileage or minimum hourly .. where if your mileage isn't = to $18+ per hour, you are compensated hourly for that day). CPC is basically a staffing company for fortune 500 companies. I love my job. I really enjoy my true boss at CPC, and I like the guys I am contracted to.

If ya want my pay stats
    $0.43 per mile
$15.70 per hr (when on duty not driving)
    $20.50 per stop

... again I have NO complaints (well other than Ryder equipment). CPC fights for annual contract pay raises, CPC will go to bat for you if you have any problems where you contract (think emails to corporate instead of location).

I can see myself retiring at my location (North American Pipe). I have spoke with many 20+ yr cpc employees at the Flagstaff, AZ Walgreen's account.

    Just my $.02

It turns out to be a "casual" position. 24x7 on-call. If someone does not show, I might get to drive. I presume that If I don't do that load, I would then get to find other employment.
Your reply seems to indicate that, if I got a real job with them, it might be good. Not sure I'm interested in the "casual".

Here ... a "Casual" driver makes a guarantee of 700 bucks a week, and gets paid $0.50 a mile to use their personal vehicle to drive around to the locations that need help ... I would check on what that position entails there.

This company has been good to me for almost all of my 14 yr career, but my manager has been a prick the last 2 yrs and have been looking for a new job. If you can find a dedicated account and work just for one company great! Other wise you will be a casual and sub. I get paid well and the account I'm at is so easy for a trucking job. I only drive 80 mile max round trip
