Got a job offer from Cowan Systems. Considering it. I've tried to ask questions about the company trucks but my recruiter wasn't sure. If any Cowan drivers are out there, do their trucks have inverters or fridges? It would be nice to know. I got an email the other day about joining their LP program and that said the truck do. I can't find anything.
Also is this a decent company? I just started driving semi's again about a year ago and I am trying to get my experience built back up.
I appreciate any and all help! Thank you so much!

I don't know much about them but looking into them in the past, it feels like they are more of a lease purchase company. I'm thinking they will aggressively push lease purchase on you.
mayoman47 Thanks this. -
Cowans lease purchase terminal used to be in Burlington, NJ near the BJ’s wholesale D.C.
The main terminal is in Halethorope, MD. When i was there the green trucks were basic with no inverter or fridge. The lease tractors are basic Pete’s with a fridge in them. Trailers are spring ride. This company prides itself on being “The Lightweight fleet”. They call themselves that because they’re able to haul heavier loads because their equipment is stripped down to the bare minimum.
Typical loads are laundry detergent out of Baltimore, BJ’s Wholesale accounts, Coca Cola and R.E. Michaels and Sons plumbing account.
The lease purchase side of Cowan Systems used to be A to Z transportation out of Pennsauken, NJ. They merged with Cowan.
Mostly heavy freight so you already know how that is with fuel. Overall not a bad company though. Trucks run about 68-70. Typical OTR trucking company.justcarhaulin, Speed_Drums, Bro_Dave and 2 others Thank this. -
Thank you for the info. I guess I'm going with my second option running with Carrol Fulmer for the time being until something better comes up
