My employer received a bunch of T680’s with Cooper Pro Series tires. I noticed they seem to capture an awful lot of rocks. That got me to take a closer look. I couldn’t believe it, when I saw “Made in China” on the sidewall. The Cooper name used to be a symbol of quality.

Cooper used to be independent. Goodyear bought them a couple years ago.

Yokohama has a similar pattern . They were good on fuel but outer edges cupped easy

Do they capture rocks as badly as these?

Yeah the Goodyear with that similar tread pattern catch rocks like that too. It's just because of the grooves/tread. After they wear down some they won't do it as bad.

    ducnut and Magoo1968 Thank this.

Yes very bad for picking up stones I kept a screwdriver handy and plucked out rocks at stops or fueling often

Right about that. My triple 4’s are new and there is just a bunch of space in the tread to absorb the stones.
