Can someone that pulls a Conestoga trailer tell me what the empty weight is? I'm sure it depends on what type of setup you have, just trying to get a ballpark weight. Thanks!

Read recently a Conestoga adds around 2300lbs, to the base trailer. That base trailer could be anywhere between 9klbs all aluminium to 15-16klbs for an all steel/wood.
Motomech Thanks this. -
Utility 53' stepdeck, aluminum/steel combo, tall curtain 118" inside. Weighs around 13500lbs.
I'm at 35000 empty full tanks with W900 and all gear but never scaled truck and trailer separate. -
I had a 53ft Fontaine flat with an aero kit was 11800lbs tare weight
Motomech Thanks this. -

We have an aero on a 53' maximizes and it is 1700# heaveier than one without. Same boxes and configuration.

Separate question, but what is inside height on those? I have a heavy spec tractor for what I do with a fifth wheel height of 52" unloaded, 50" loaded, on tall 24.5
Motomech Thanks this. -
They will do what ever you want for hight? Ours has 102 clearance but on a low pro trailer.you can order them different just have to wait a short time for the tarps to be made. I have seen them 4' tall on a strait truck before.
Motomech and tbdieseltrucking Thank this. -

Thanks for the info. That fifth wheel height is a PIA sometimes. Ordered it that way for petroleum trailer...good drainage. 96" inside will work. Saw one the other day used in PA, with 99" inside, checked back, it was gone.
