    Does anyone know of compressor rebuild kits for a Peterbilt 379 C15.

    Ok, they may make one. Have you tried your local Peterbuilt dealer? I replaced my compressor on my 379 last year. If I remember correctly it was less than $700 with a core and I upgraded to a 750.

    I did a reman from NAPA for $479

    I’m sure you can get a rebuild kit as well. Mine was the original compressor on a 94 model 379 and some of those bolts were in there so even though I wanted to rebuild I didn’t want to deal with that.

    when i look for reman they come up at a little over 3k

    Have to verify which one is the right one for your truck

    be prepared to change the oil line and coolant lines as they may be in rough shape depending on age of truck. I just purchased the parts and built my own lines.

    Sometimes I have called freightliner for a Universal part and I've gotten it cheaper. What price did Peter bill give you?
