I searched the forum, and came across some older threads, but was hoping for some updated info on seats. I looking at Isri premium and the Grammer Kingman Luxury. Both have heat and cooling. There is about $500 difference between them. $2000 for Isri & $1500 for the kingman. Anybody had experience with either of them? I even thought about the Bose ride but have heard some negatives about them, like back rest positions and ride height. I don't want to be sitting in the roof. For what it's worth it's going in a 379. Any and all reviews would be helpful. Also any other options you wanna throw my way I appreciate.

I have the Bostrom Wide ride seat with serta memory foam. It has heat but its not hooked up. Also has the usual air adjustments for lumber, lower and upper back,.. arm rests on both sides of the seat. Very comfortable. I've had it for 2 yrs now. It sits low,. I dont like my seat up in the air. I paid $900 for it at Raneys in Ocala Fl.

Does that leather seat get hot and make your back sweaty? @Hurst

They cant do much in Fla. But they can #### sure get your AC working good.

My only concern with the wide ride, any wide seat for that matter, is that I have my tower for my PTO controls between the door and seat for my dump trailers and fold down neck trailer. So Im a little concerned with the seat hitting the tower.

I would love to hear opinions from anyone that has the minimizer seat. I'm looking at the heat and massage option. I love how the bostrom wide ride seat cushion feels with the serta memory foam, but my issue with the seat is I'm to skinny for side bulsters to actually do anything for me and I don't feel like gaining the extra pounds for the seat to fit me.
The minimize fits nice but I've heard people say the ride sucks and you can't adjust the firmness of the ride that well.
I'm not ready to drop $2000 on a seat that I'm going be uncomfortable in, so anyone that has experience with a minimizer please tell me what you think of it. -
I personally I never figured out anyone would pay 2k for a seat. I'm satisfied just with having air, and the bonus I have on my seat is, arm rest, lumbar support and a couple of other small features, price, $350.00, brand, National. But I'm old school and not spoiled. Don't need all that mombo jumbo. If you get to comfortable you will end up falling asleep behind the wheel.

Wide ride seat is for 250lb + guys IMO. I am 220lb and it did not feel comfortable, too loose. Regular Bostrom felt perfect.
I also could not justify spending $2k on a seat. Picked up a Legacy Silver couple of weeks ago, local Freightliner has them on sale $509 for cloth and $660 for leather one. Much much better than stock Volvo seatLoJackDatHo and JimmyWells Thank this. -

My opinion is that if I spend all my time in a seat that doesn't at least feel half decent on my tail bone, I'll end up being one of those guys that walks hunched over all the time from back problems. So I'm willing to spend a little coin to avoid that.
I won't spend a fortune on a seat, but I got my Legacy Silver a couple months ago in Amarillo for around $750. It's worth it to me.
FYI, I'm 5'9 and 175, and the Legacy fits me real well. My boss is bigger than me and he doesn't care for them. Really need to sit in some seats yourself before you decide.wore out, OLDSKOOLERnWV, DL550CAT and 1 other person Thank this.
